Here at Traverse we offer Physical Therapy, Personal Training and Sports Performance services. We are located at: 1621 Tongass Ave in Suite #207 in the Westflight Building.

Physical Therapy Patients
Booking your First Appointment
Click the “Book Now” button at the top of the page and schedule your first appt through Jane App, our online scheduling service. Once you book your first session, you will be directed to set up your personal Jane account. This account will allow you to schedule future sessions, cancel sessions up to 24 hours in advance, fill out intake forms, and pay securely for each appointment.
Arriving to Our Clinic
When arriving for your first appointment, you can park in any of the four parking spaces labeled Suite 207. Head up to the second floor and we are the last door on the right. We share a waiting room with another healthcare provider, so please take a seat in the waiting room and your physical therapist will be with you at your scheduled appointment time.
Your First Appointment
The Initial Evaluation generally takes about 1 hour. We will typically go through a full assessment consisting of a detailed history, posture, strength, endurance, balance, and movement patterns. However, this is not a comprehensive list and the assessment can vary based on each diagnosis. ** Please prepare for follow up visits to take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour based on your diagnosis. All treatment will be tailored to your individual needs.
What to Bring
Please bring your drivers license, a credit card to have on file and a list of medications (if applicable to you). Please have your intake paperwork filled out and a credit card on file in your Jane account prior to the appointment. The intake forms are sent to the email provided when setting up your JANE account.
What to Wear
Loose comfortable clothes (T-shirt or tank top, sports bra, shorts, best pair of running shoes and your typical daily footwear).
We have places for you to change and store your everyday clothes or bags.
Insurance
Traverse is currently in network with Medicare, Premera and Aetna, as well as self-pay. There is an option for reimbursement from your insurance company depending on your out of network coverage. **additional insurance carriers to come.
NOTE: Physical therapy is an autonomous profession and referrals are not required for treatment. However, some insurance companies require a referral for coverage. Please check with your insurance company before scheduling your initial evaluation.

Traverse Movement & Performance currently accepts Medicare. We are not in network with any additional commercial payers at this time. However, there is an option to pay out of pocket and then submit a superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurance. Please contact your insurance carrier to check your out of network coverage.

This is an out of network model that helps avoid restrictions from commercial payers which interfere with a patient’s treatment and/or progress. This model also allows the patient to know the cost of their treatment upfront without any surprise bills down the road. There is also the option to submit a “super bill” to your insurance company for potential reimbursement depending on your insurance’s out of network coverage.

Yes! Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts can typically be used to pay for physical therapy services but cannot be used for non-medical services.
